Your Virtual Instructor: Erika Maxie, NASM CPT, FNS Erika promotes a "perfectly imperfect" fitness journey and considers exercise as a celebration for what the body can do versus as a punishment for what we eat. Erika's passion supports living with intention and seeing challenges as opportunities to overcome.
What to Expect: Our virtual experiences are designed to help relax, re-build and be you. Set realistic, attainable goals, challenge yourself and see the change. Our (9) monthly studio sessions are via Zoom at 7:30 pm EST and is an easy practice to begin. Prep in advance and create a space free from distractions. CORE Fitness Sessions: YOGA: Listen from within using foundational, core-based exercises designed to help de-stress from your busy day. A quiet, consistent space is recommended. Optional props to support your practice: a mat, (2) blocks, a bolster, blanket, and/or yoga strap, stability ball. #restandrestore
BARRE: (pronounced, bar) Treat yourself to an unforgettable muscle burn! Our ballet-inspired, low-impact exercises shapes, tones and sculpts using body weight resistance with props for core stability. Barre sticky socks or bare feet is recommend. Optional props to support your practice: (1) light to XX-heavy loop resistance bands, mat, high back chair, stability ball, hand weights (3lb, 5lb, or 10lbs) #feeltheburn
MEDITATION: Focus the mind, breath & body, then settle into stillness. Come as you are as each guided experience celebrates being the best you. Step into an unforgettable sacred space that’s accessible to everyone. Optional props to support your practice: a mat, blanket, bolster, pillows, essential oils, soy candle(s). #bestillandknow
